My daughter was born at the tall end of the growth chart but has been falling to the shorter end. She is still on the chart and supposedly over 25%, but the doctors are sloppy in the measuring (shoes on, etc). I am concerned. At 18 months she was still over the 80th percentile and at 24 months she was still high, she has since dropped below 50th, and now she is not yet 37.5 inches and 3 and a half years old.

Sometimes kids get out of sync with the growth charts- they are only averages and some people go through faster/ slower growth spurts. 5 ft tall is not a bad height either. I wouldn't recommend HGH, at least leave it a few years and see if her growth catches up. I would only be concerned if she was really thin or unhealthy as then stunted growth can be a sign of malnutrition.
