The brain stops sending the chemicals/messages to continue cell production/growth.

  1. Not all humans just suddenly stop growing at age 21. It doesn't happen over night like a robot, but more at a gradual stage to where you body simmers down the rate of chemical emitted from the brain to testosterone and hormones to where you don't necessarily stop growing but is the stage where you practically stop. Hope I helped

  2. I don't know but that seems very sad... Maybe there would be a way to stop it.........I have never thought of that before.

  3. The human growth hormone stops being produced around this age. If it is produced in adulthood then this can cause acromegaly, where symptoms are a large jaw, larger hands, brow protrusion and other serious complications that can lead to heart attacks and blindness.
