Im 14 and I want to be ripped when I go to high school but I'm just worried if I start lifting weights I will stunt my growth.

Stun*, weight training does not stun your growth, the reason you see short bodybuilders and all the muscly guys are short is because it is easier for a shorter person to gain muscle.

  1. You should weight until you are 16 to start lifting heavier weights. Just use your own body weight and do push ups, pull ups and sit ups.

  2. The only thing that stunts growth is severe malnutrition or severe illness in childhood.
I don't know who started the ridiculous rumour about weight lifting. some joker probably.

Doing any form of exercise helps in increasing the secretion of human growth hormone (HGH).
Also you need plenty of sleep and a good diet.
