I have never heard of such a thing. Most of your height lies in your genes, although a lot of meat and milk in the U.S. contains growth hormones that are fed to the animals (plus a lot of other nasty things that I wouldn't want to consume). If your mom and dad are both short, you will probably acheive similar height.
If you're under say 25, you probably haven't reached your adult height yet anyway.
Such a thing has to be done on the recommendations of and with the close supervision of a doctor as there are very significant risks and side-effects. You can't just take this stuff becuase you want to play center on your basketball team.

ReplyDeleteYour endocrinologist can prescribe it. Otherwise, it's a bad idea. If you don't know why, that's another reason you shouldn't.
ReplyDeleteyour doctor will write you a prescription and then take it to the pharmacy of your choice and they will order it, and dispense it to you...
