Ok so I've been doing some research and everywhere I see that is says that sprinting is a great way to build muscles cause it release human growth hormone(HGH). Is this true and how effective is this HGH. Can you totally rely on a sprinting workout to build muscle? Coz my friend is doing sprinting with no weight training workout and he is gaining muscle fast. Please if you answer give a good explanation I really need to understand this.

But it's not enough. Diet and mental training help in this as well.

Sprinting no doubt helps in releasing HGH but if some light exercise could be continued with this activity results in better gains.
