You might find this interesting. Fortunately I live in the UK where hormone growth promoters were banned some time ago.

I'm not sure what hormones they're given, but i am guessing that they do affect humans. I mean, there's so many people with cancer out there it isn't even funny.
ReplyDeleteGreat question though, thats something my family in Mexico (where cows aren't hormone fed) and I notice.
I remember a few years back when cattle ranchers used monosodium glutamate to enhance the flavor of their somewhat blandish product.
ReplyDeleteIt was sort of a social taboo, but after a few years time I believe that people eventually began to appreciate as more of a catch-22 of the meat world.
One of those things where you know you shouldn't use it, but if you don't your stuff isn't as good.
I think that's why girls today look like yesterdays grandmas.
