What types of scientists develop things like human growth hormone?
Question by NeoElectric: What types of scientists develop things like human growth hormone? Molecular biologists, bioengineers, or biochemists? I'm assuming they also deal with DNA and genetics?
Not "also" DNA and genetics, *mainly* DNA and genetics. Molecular biology is just a more modern term for biochemistry. They are the same thing. I think a bio-engineer would be the one most likely to be in the business of designing and synthesizing new hormones, but I'm really not too clear on the distinction between the technicians and the scientists. I guess the best way of telling is by looking at their paychecks! LOL.
