I'm 13 and im 5'7", I drink a soda every once and a while (maybe one a day or one every two days), and I watch tv until 12am, then sleep until 6:45am. Am I stunting my growth?

Yes and no. Caffeine probably doesn't directly stunt growth, or no teenager would be tall :) However, you really should get at least 8 hrs of sleep a day; sleep is when your spinal discs stretch out again and allow for Human Growth Hormone to be released into the body. Sleep is pretty much the only time growth occurs, so it helps to get to bed at a good time. Caffeine makes it harder to sleep, so it indirectly could stunt growth a bit.

How much grain is fed to a chicken, turkey, pig or cow to produce a pound of meat? And I also heard that the grain they are fed is not edible to humans, so it isn't actually a question of the animal eating grain that people could be eating. True?

Grain fed to livestock in large scale farming has often been tampered with- hormones, bone meal, and straw, hay , chemicals and so on. For a small farm they feed hay to the cows. Or the pigs get corn if they're lucky. In any case, an awful lot of plant food is fed to any animal for it to live and be used as food. People don't tend to eat meat eaters.

Im 19 years old, 7months. I would like to know what the chances that i could grow taller. If i started taking human growth hormone medication. How long would i have to take it? What the maximum amount of inches i could grow? is it still possible for me to get any taller? im terribly short. My dad is just a lil bit taller than i am, and i am my mums height.

Don't mess around with any of that crap off the internet or any illegal steroids, you may end up doing more harm then good!
Go to the doctor and have him check your hormone levels, if they are low he may put you on some form of hormone therapy, if they are normal he probably won't.

No, its not safe for someone who is not deficient in this hormone...raising levels above normal can have serious side effects and impair your health. Its a myth that you will get "huge" from it! It only helps you grow during puberty. I am a woman in my 30s and take it daily for deficiency and I can tell you it has not made me get any bigger in anyway even when my levels got above normal! In fact, I felt awful with terrible body aches.

my daughter takes it, she has done since she was 4yr old, she's been on the injections for almost 10yrs. At almost 14yr old she's 4ft 6" tall, expected adult height will be 4ft 11" to 5ft. She has a real growth hormone problem, not just wanting to be taller
At 20yr old you are too old, your growth plates will have fused so it simply won't work, it's a very expensive treatment and the taller you are the more GH needed so the cost rises, just now the cost for my daughter is about £1200 (GBP) per month. She's had no side effects, for you the main side effect would be an empty wallet and zero growth

There was a documented case in south america some years ago where chickens had been fed hormones and the kids who ate it were developing breasts and menstruation as early as 6. One case was about a little boy who developed breasts and female characteristics.

He ordered a 12-month supply of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) in 2004, one year before MLB banned the substance. Ankiel didn't order anymore of the drug after it was banned. While the drug was not illegal in baseball at the time, I'm still disappointed that Ankiel used it. Although it was legal at the time, do you think he'll get in any kind of trouble?

You cant do stretches to grow taller, if anything that just decompresses your body so you are "technically" taller by like a few mm.

Are you a male or a female?

Even if you are a male 5'4 is a short height but its not abnormally short so I don't think you need to take HGH. Besides, you are only 14, you will probably grow a couple more inches in the coming years.
