I know that for children who are predicted to be (or already are) shorter/smaller than normal people their age can take growth hormone injections. My question is: are there any cheaper, effective alternatives to these injections? Like pills or other types of supplements? And, what is the cut-off age for having hormone treatment? I've seen age 21-23, 20, "before 20".......obviously everywhere has a different answer.

Human growth hormones are very dangerous and can only be presribed by doctors for medical problems.
