They are not chemically similar. Testosterone is a steroid, and human growth hormone is a protein. They need completely different genes for their synthesis.
Something else cool will happen though. You'll get a bit more manly for a little while there because of the testosterone increase, then eventually you'll plateau out. Once you stop taking it, your body will still be compensating for the testosterone for a while. In that event you'll produce more estrogen. You facial hair will lighten up, your voice will get higher, and you'll get man-boobs. :D That's harder to get rid of.
