How can i grow taller after pueberty?

Question by Michael: How can i grow taller after pueberty?
i am 13 years old but hit pueberty early. Im 5'5, and still going through pueberty. But, i gained 30 pounds last summer, and got really strong, but, i only grew about 2 inches, and it seems to be that, that was my growth spurt. I am afraid that i wont even reach 5'11 by highschool, and i want to be six foot. Is there any way i can get taller faster, and easy?

  1. There are two things you can do to make yourself taller.

First, you can exercises like the hanging stretching or pull ups. Hanging by your arms (common to both exercises) accomplishes several things. It can reduce spinal compression by using gravity to pull your weight down. This increases the amount of fluid in the discs between you vertebrae. This lengthens the spine and the overall effect is you are taller. In addition, gravity pulls apart your joints near the end of the bone (where bones grow). This stimulates your body to increase and lengthen bone mass.

Second, you can eat a diet designed to increase your bodys production of Human Growth Hormone (HGH). This is the hormone your body uses to grow. High protein diets have been shown to naturally increase the levels of HGH in bloodstream.

One final note, high intensity exercise of any kind has also been show to stimulate your natural production of HGH.
