I am pretty sure that he will not precribe it to you because you want to get taller especially if you 5'6 at 17 years old. Or will he? What do you need to have to get it prescribed to you? What are some things to tell him?

A doctor will NOT prescribe it for you just on YOUR say so. He must examine you & run tests to make sure if you need it or not. If he feels you do NOT need it - you can forget it.
