Do bodyweight exercises increase human growth hormone production?

Question by Steven: Do bodyweight exercises increase human growth hormone production?
I'm 18 years old and for the past two weeks, I've been doing push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts, and stretches daily, usually in the evening. I know human growth hormone is what makes the human body grow taller for as long as the growth plates are still open. I measured myself for the first time since I started the exercises and my height increased by a quarter of an inch, and I measured myself at night to take out the spine decompression effect that occurs while sleeping. So my question is, are these bodyweight exercises helping me increase my HGH levels and making me grow taller?

P.S. My dad is 6 ft. tall, and my mom in 5'3". I was just 5'8" but now i'm a a quarter inch taller.

An explanation is very much appreciated!
