My 12 year old daughter is believed to have a lack of Human Growth Hormone (HGH). How much will she typically be helped if she is just starting treatment?
At 12 years old, my daughter is the size of a smaller 7 year old!

Well from my personal experience, i've been taking Norditropin (a form of HGH) for a year an a half and im 16 yrs old now. Before i started i was 4'11 and now im 5'6, at first it was really slow growing (3/4 inch every 3 months) but now its really starting to pick up (2inches in 3 months). Its very effective in my case, but you should also check to be sure. Your best bet is to see an endocrinologist like i did and they will do the tests to see if its needed.
